I sit here thinking of you,
My eye fills with a tear,
I miss you so very much,
And wish that you were here.
I love and need you dearly,
You are a part of me.
I want to hold you closely,
For all eternity.
Things outside of our control,
Have kept us both apart.
Love, you have to surely know,
It breaks my lonely heart.
So long I've been without you,
Denied your warm embrace,
Without your love and freindship,
And have not seen your face.
Instead of thinking of you,
I know what I must do.
I'll find a way to somehow,
Again be there with you.
