By Scott McGee
A mother is a special one,
Who hugs you when you cry,
Who dust you off and sets you down,
To have another try.
She makes your bed and cooks your food,
And washes all your clothes.
She can even mend a broken bike,
And fix a bloody nose.
She's always there to give you hugs,
And hold you when afraid,
To make you feel extra special,
When you get a higher grade.
She's there when you just need a friend,
To tell a secret to,
Or doctor you and make you well,
When sick in bed with flu.
She's a chauffer and a waitress,
A doctor, cook, and friend.
I want my mom to always know,
I'll love her to the end!
