My lovely flower of the spring,
It is of you I happy sing.
I love you more than time can tell,
I love your sight. I love your smell.
Our love is not of fleeting time,
But brings eternal joy sublime.
The day that you became my wife,
Was the day I bagan my life.
Now through the worldly cares we go,
And face together this earthly woe.
We'll now in happiness forever live,
And each other all things give.
And when with life's last fleeting breath,
We part by temporary death,
And when through death's dark misty gloom,
I lose sight of your glorious bloom,
I know that we will together sing,
Beside our Savior, Lord and King.
I know that through a temple seal,
When 'crossed the alter we did kneel,
All our children and you and I,
Will live in the presence of God Most High.
Then, my dearest, you will be,
My flower for all eternity.
